Fred Schreffler is the owner & operator of The Berry Ranch. Fred had dreamed of farming on his own ever since he was a little boy. After 18 years in the seed research business, he decided to start The Berry Ranch. The first year of crop production & sales was in 1993.
It has been an adventure & sometimes torturous journey which is still playing out. The crop mix is ever changing & we try to fit & fill niches. Maria joined with me several years after my divorce, & together we are building a life & continue to run the ranch. We have many families who have been blessed by the impact of experiences at The Berry Ranch & wish to continue to extend you an open invitation for many years to come.
