These are 12- 1/2 pint baskets. Flat is $25.59. ½ Flat is $13.59.

Your first 7 lbs. are $2.00/lb.

Your 3^rd 7 lbs., 14.01-20.99, are $1.40/lb.

Lbs. over 21.00 are $1.20/lb.

Examples:

Min amount including tax is paid before going to the field.

Minimum charge of $6.00 (includes tax) per person age 3 and over to be applied toward purchase of berries.

This means each person must pick 2.83 pounds of berries to equal the minimum charge.

We provide trays to pick into, and deduct this weight from your total.

2 Adults & 2 children to pick 15 lbs.

1^st 7 lbs. is 7 lbs. x $2.00 = $14.00

2^nd 7 lbs. is 7 lbs. x $1.60 = $11.20

The last 1 lb. is $1.40

So add 14.00 + 11.20 + 1.40 = $26.60.

Obviously the $5.66 x 4 = $22.64 minimum paid earlier is exceeded. The total charge is $26.60 plus tax.

Please be advised in all fairness we cannot make exceptions to the minimum charge.

Over 21 lbs. Example for pricing 32 lbs.

1^st 7 lbs., 7 lbs. x $2.00 = $14.00

2^nd 7 lbs., 7 lbs. x $1.60 = $11.20

3^rd 7 lbs., 7 lbs. x $1.40 = $9.80

Pounds over 21 is 32 - 21 = 11

11 lbs. x $1.20 = $13.20

Total is $14.00 + 11.20 + 9.80 + 13.20 = $48.20 plus tax.

If these 3 picked 9 lbs., then 7.0 lbs X $2.00 = $14.00

2 lbs x $1.60 = $3.20 Total = $17.20

Minimum charge $5.66 x 3 = $16.98

The total charge would be $17.20, before tax, since the minimum is exceeded.

2 Adults:

Must pick a minimum of 5.66 lbs. of berries to equal minimum charge. 5.66 lbs. x $2.00 = $11.32 before tax(Minimum charge of $5.66 X 2 persons = $11.32).

So if they picked 4 lbs of berries, or any quantity less then 5.66 lbs, the charge is still $11.32, the minimum.
