 Minimum charge of $5.66 per person age 3 and over to be applied toward purchase of PYO berries. This means each person must pick 2.17 pounds of berries to equal minimum charge The berries are thornless. There are wasp nests in the field, which we remove when found.

Example

2 Adults & 2 children to pick 15 lbs.

1st seven pounds = 7 X $2.60 = $18.20

7 – 14 lbs. =

7 X 2.30. = $16.10

Then last 1 pound at $1.80

So add: 18.20 16.10

1.80

Obviously the $5.66 X 4 = $22.64 minimum is exceeded. The total charge is $36.10, plus tax

Over 21 Pound

Example for

Pricing 32 lb.

1st7lb, 7 x$2.60

=$18.20

2nd7lb,7 x$2.30

=$16.10

3rd7lb, 7 x$1.80

=$12.60

Pounds over 21

are 32-21=11

11x$1.60

=$17.60

Total is 18.20+

16.10+12.60+

17.60=$64.50,

plus tax.

6.8 lbs, then 6.8 lbs X $2.60 =$17.68 before tax; Minimum charge $5.66 X 3 = $16.98 before tax.

The total charge would be $17.68, before tax, since the minimum is exceeded.

Example 2 Adults:

Must pick a minimum of 4.34 pounds of berries to equal minimum charge. 4.34 lbs. X $2.60 = $11.32 before tax.

(Minimum charge of $5.66 X 2 =

$11.32.)

So if they picked 3.9 lbs of berries, or any quantity less then 4.34 lbs, the charge is still $11.32, the minimum.
